2012 the year of 600 quadrillion possibilities (per mm²)

At least since „2012“ by Roland Emmerich the coming year has been heavy with dark foreboding. On the 21^st of December the Mayan calendar will run out of days, the Internet probably out of addresses before then, and, all in all: the end is nigh.

Nothing but rumours!

In truth we are at the beginning of a new cycle, which was a cause for joy for the Maya, for once again we made it and something new is about to begin.
So: Don’t Panic! The round calendar is not running out of days, and the next year will surely see the long awaited breakthrough of IPv6.

Therefore in 2012 and beyond we will be able to say: "There is no place like home" or, in IPv6: "There is no place like ::1".
